I have your 2bbl TBI intake manifold for a small block Chevy and my EGR valve hits the Throttle body why?

ANSWER:
The intake manifold is not designed for 1987 or later trucks. If you EGR is hitting you have a 1987 or newer truck. A Standard Motor Products EGR valve number EGV350 or a Carter EGR relocate will usually remedy this problem.
