    Default 554-102 pressure sensor mounting?

    I just purchased one of these sensors and the instructions recommend not mounting any transducer to the engine.
    I'm curious as to how others have mounted theirs. I don't want to go overboard with pluming if I don't have too.

    I used one for fuel pressure, I mounted it directly to the fuel pressure port on the regulator.

    The oil & fuel pressure transducers are used for Data Monitoring, Data Logging and setup Outputs based on oil & fuel pressure.
    I installed the oil pressure transducer at the rear of the engine block with the OEM oil pressure sending unit.
    I installed the fuel pressure transducer on the remote mounted fuel pressure regulator's gauge port (MPFI).
    The fuel & oil pressure transducers (LINK) shouldn't be directly mounted on the engine, especially if it's a high vibration engine. (Holley 554-102 Transducer Instructions) (Transducer Extension Harness)

    My Holley fuel pressure transducer is threaded into the gauge port of my remote mounted fuel pressure regulator (firewall bracket).
    Or you can use this if your fuel system plumbing uses AN fittings: (-6AN/⅛" NPT) (Gauge Adapters)

    Round 3-pin TPS female mating connector - Delphi 2120-0554 (motorcycle & powersport applications #2120-0216 - LINK).

    Holley fuel & oil pressure transducers remotely mounted with a short length of -3AN hose: (90°, female ⅛" NPT to -3AN fitting.) (Straight, female ⅛" NPT to -3AN fitting.) (Select "-3AN", "-3AN Female" & "Length" at left pane.)

    FYI: The Holley pressure transducers (SSI Technologies) are very high quality and stainless steel construction (LINK). The Holley transducers have integrated ASIC signal conditioning for calibration & temperature compensation (unlike some less expensive models). Holley transducers are compatible with air, hydrogen, nitrogen, water, refrigerant, engine oil, diesel, ATF/hydraulic & brake fluid. The operating range is -40°C − 105°C (-40°F − 221°F).
