Click "Open Global Folder" and open "Custom Cals". All the custom base calibrations are there.
If you don't see the turbo base calibrations there, then you'll need to upgrade your software/firmware.

Which software & firmware versions do you have now?
Software: click "Help" tab (top toolbar) & "About Holley EFI".
Firmware: click "Sync With ECU" & "Get ECU Info" (Key-on/USB connected).
The latest software & firmware can be downloaded here:
    http://www.holley.com/TechService/Li...#FuelInjection (Holley EFI Technical Library)
http://www.holley.com/data/TechServi...9R10546rev.pdf (HP & Dominator Quick Start Guide)
http://www.holley.com/data/TechServi...20Firmware.pdf (How To Update ECU Firmware)
Before updating firmware, ensure the current Global Folder is saved somewhere, since it will be erased from the ECU.

The latest V2 software can be downloaded here: http://www.holley.com/TechService/Li...#FuelInjection
Read the 199R10632rev5 PDF document for a "V2 Software Update Overview" (in "Holley EFI V2 Instructions").
Be sure to successfully install the new V2 software, before installing the ECU firmware (read "V2 Update Instructions").
Ensure the Holley EFI software is not open and the ECU is not powered on/connected when installing the new software.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

OK Dan, I was all ready to scratch the tune in the car (after having it run so bad last night and this morning).
Then I came home tonight, and I don't know who to thank, but the car runs great!!! I don't get it!!!
It's done this before, and I couldn't figure it out...
Any ideas what would cause it???
Maybe that little prayer I said helped!

I would record a short datalog of the engine idling good.
Then if the problem returns, datalog it again for comparison.
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

OK Danny, I've looked at the other base calibrations, and ya each one is different. Other than the fuel and timing maps, are there any other things that would be different? Like idle settings and parameters that I may have set wrong. I've tried matching my fuel numbers with other different maps, and moving my timing map high & low at idle. I'm still having issues. Plugs are black. Idle and cruising speeds are rich and lean, and still all over the board. Right now, I'm at 28° of timing at idle, IAC is at 3-5 when hot, I have preferred AFR set at 14.1. I'm still in open loop with idle to 1000 RPM. Still surging at idle, and not at off idle sometimes around 1500 RPM, sometimes around 2000.
What the heck am I doing wrong...

If the spark plugs have been fuel saturated, they probably need to be replaced.
Are all the Engine (including WBO2 selection) and Ignition Parameters correct?
Where is the WBO2 sensor located and does your vehicle have full exhaust?
Does the WBO2 sensor indicate a lean AFR reading, even when it's rich?
Have you checked for ignition misfires by using a timing light on each cylinder?
Did you datalog this surging occurrence? Does the RPM ever state RPM Error?
May God's grace bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

OK, I've changed plugs already, Autolite 3934, didn't help. All parameters seem OK.
Full exhaust. Shorty headers going to single turbo. Sensor is 17" down from turbo.
O2 sensor seems to be reading OK, it surges and AFR readings go lean, then rich.
I haven't checked for misfires cause sometimes it runs OK then sometimes it wont.
No errors have shown up yet. Well, I haven't seen where they would. Is there a place you check?
No data log yet. My buddy has the same system and he hasn't logged yet either.
So as it stands, I've tried looking at all the other setups I can find, mine looks OK.
Other than some Idle parameters...like Idle Spark and so on...I don't know enough to be playing with those!
I find it hard to believe Holley would sell something like this that is so un-user friendly...

You should connect a timing light and watch for consistent flashing.
On a separate note, when the engine is idling "OK", which kPa x RPM cell does it idle on? What's the lb/hr value?

Yes, look at the RPM channel on the Data Monitor and on a datalog.

    No data log yet.
Email me your current Global Folder and a datalog of this surging occurrence.

    Emailing Global Folders/Global Files (V4) & Datalogs:
Your Global Folder and/or Datalogs can be emailed to yourself or other forum members. Click on their username, "View Profile", "About Me" & "Download vCard" for their email address. When emailing a Global Folder/File or Datalog, use your email's 'attachment utility' function and Browse through your computer's "Documents", "Holley", "HEFI" & "Global Folders"/"Global Files" (V4) or "Datalogs". V3 & earlier: Then right click on your Global Folder and Send To "Compressed (Zipped) Folder". Then select the zipped folder and attach it to the email. V4 Global Files & Datalogs (all versions) aren't required to be "zipped"; simply select & attach it to the email. The recipient now has your entire GF or Datalog in one easy step. If it's zipped from email, so download it to your Desktop (or wherever your PC saves it to), and unzip it. Then "Cut & Paste" the GF into "Holley" "HEFI" "Global Folders/Files" directory (located in Documents).

You're frustrated and I understand that. But this is the most user-friendly aftermarket EFI system I've ever used.

OK frustration is over! I think! LOL.

I turned my timing at idle down to 20 degrees.

It leaned out all my rich zones in the map...took away almost all my surging, and for now no more problems.
I haven't logged it yet, cause I still haven't figured that out yet! But if I mess around with this thing a bit more I should get it, or I'll be back on here.

    Thanks Danny!

OK Danny, no luck with data logging. I've got more issues again!
1st of all, for some reason, my computer won't let me view the logs.
If I hook up my buddies laptop, he can read them. Is there something wrong with my setup?

Second thing, my system wont display boost on the logs??? And I don't have a boost icon.

And my big problem here is that I can't get the engine to rev over 5000 rpm with out breaking up and shutting down.
We checked the logs with my buds computer, and after 5000 rpm, it spikes badly from rich to lean!

Could it be setup or something, I'm running 12 lbs boost, and gapping the plugs at .028".
Any ideas, on any of these questions? We are both stumped!!!
