A rubber hose will first require a barb to NPT (pipe thread) fitting:

Then use a female NPT coupling to thread it to a -6AN fitting.

Or, if it's possible to remove the OEM transmission & power steering fittings,

For ⅜" I.D. hose, you'll need to use -6AN fittings.
