    Question Holley Accessory Brackets for LS conversion 20-135

    Ran into a problem today with my LS swap in my 78 Vette. The bracket part 20-135 and a stock corvette 97 PS pump, when mounted to the cylinder head the power steering pulley hits my A arm. Tried to locate a different pulley today without much success. I need about 1" smaller diameter with the same offset so the belt lines up. I read a warning in the instructions that this could be problem, but no help in identifying a cross reference pulley.

    Have you tried a GM 12578552 power steering pulley?

    Got the dimensions for the GM 12578552 and it's too large a diameter. The solution for me is going to be Dorman 300-123 and make a bushing to fit the Vette PS pump shaft which is .66 and give me the offset to get the belt to line up. This will give me about an inch clearance from the A Arm.

    Make sure this much smaller diameter power steering pulley won't damage the pump by spinning it too fast. I assume you've verified the engine mounting isn't the problem.
