The preexisting Electric Fans output in Basic I/O - System Parameters (System ICF), don't utilize the custom Inputs/Outputs ICF. And vice-versa, a custom created Electric Fan Output in the Inputs/Outputs ICF, doesn't involve the preexisting Electric Fans output in Basic I/O - System Parameters (System ICF). Please read post #1 of this forum thread again. Of course, both types will require Pin Mapping.

OK, read through this thread and I still have questions. I plan to go the Fusion fan/controller route. Do I need the 75 amp protected relay? A diode? A relay to run the PWM controller? Or does the PWM on the fusion fan have a built-in relay that's only wired to the HP?

When using the Fusion fan & controller, the setup is exactly the same as the Corvette. No need for any relays. The controller has 5 wires. Two go to the motor, two go to the battery, one small wire gets connected to a PWM- Output on your HP. On the battery connection, on the positive side, wire a 40 circuit breakers. Done. Andrew

I have everything wired as described. Dominator setup and Ron Davis radiator with his relay setup for Holley EFI. It works as should when starting/idling & initial driving, but after a bit of driving the fans turn off and car will start to rise in temp. If I shut the car off and restart, the fans immediately come back on as they should've been. I'm keeping constant +12V power to the relays when they should be turned on, but aren't. I selected "ground" for my Outputs. Could this be something with selection for +12V? I'm trying to determine if it's possible or there's some issue with relay to the fans. I only have a minute to test/check before having to shut the car back off, and fans will cycle back on when I turn power back on. It happens every time after I make some runs to datalog.

Using B10 and B3 outputs, 1 for each electric fan
