    Default ID for headers

    Is there any way to ID a used set of headers? I'm looking at a set of used Super Comp headers for a 1968 Mustang 351c 4v, but I'm not sure they are what the seller says they are. He says they were off a 1969 Mustang but also had other cars with a 351c which makes me wonder.

    Yes, the part number of the header will be stamped on the inside of the flange. Example 6211R or 6211L. Take the four digit number and add HKR to the end of it and you will have the Hooker part number.
