    Smile perplexed

BTW ... a previous post about the six screws vs eight was oddly timely. I will now go back and remove the two ..

I have a 4776 double pumper and I have an odd problem. I have the 30 cc diaphrams and springs. When I prime the car to start by manually moving the throttle cable, the squirter off of the main bowl does nothing while the squirter for the secondary is on a hair trigger. I have swapped the diaphrams front to back... same thing withe springs. I even swapped out the metering block but still nothing. I have to literally push down very hard with my finger to get the squirter to eject fuel. I even swapped the squirters from one side to the other.. I am totally at a loss to understand what I am missing or what I need to do. Any ideas??
    thanks

Does the throttle linkage actuate the accelerator pump lever?

Yes, you can use all eight base plate screws, if you use red threadlocker and tighten them good.
