Default Getting my '90 Mustang A/C functioning again, need input.

Hello All. I'm trying to hook A/C back up in my 1990 Mustang. I was thinking that it would be wise to run the A/C clutch off the Holley HP. That way I can turn the clutch off at below 700 RPM and anything above say 4500 RPM. Plus I could turn my electric fan on when the clutch is activated.

I'm working on finding the single 12V wire coming from the dash towards the receiver/dryer high/low pressure cut-out switch. Once I find that, I'm ready to bring that wire into the Holley HP.
Are there instructions on how to setup a 12V input? (Probably 100% there are, just wanted to reach out and see if anyone can help in that area or if you've done similar to this.) Thanks! Mike

Wow! Thanks for the fast reply. I need to mention that I don't have any of the original wiring from the EEC into the engine compartment. I thought I saved it, but I can't find it. The compressor clutch still has the harness on it, but I haven't traced it to where it goes yet. Would I be easier if I just started out fresh? Bought new high/low cutout pigtail and compressor clutch pigtail and a small relay? Hook the relay up in the passenger kick panel, it gets triggered by the Holley HP. Then the relay sends out a single +12V wire to the high/low switch, then to the compressor, then to ground. Would that work? Would you recommend this method?

I highly suggest purchasing a Ford EVTM (Electrical & Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual) for your '90 Mustang. Wire the "A/C Shutdown" WOT Cutout Relay and or the "A/C IAC Kick" function(s) similar to how Ford did it.
