IAC HOLD when tuned in VE% mode.

When the system in tuned in VE% mode, does it automatically not use the IAC Hold function other than at Idle? On my new tune, done in VE%, the IAC Hold is set at 20%, but immediately goes to 0% when the TPS goes over 2%. The IAC is still active at idle (0% TPS). If I substitute an old tune, done in Speed Density, the IAC Hold will maintain 20% as directed. Thank you, K.

That's not right (see Help ? Contents description below). That seems like a corrupted Global File. Try reflashing the ECU firmware. Which EFI software/ECU firmware versions? Regular Terminator or Terminator X?
Parameters - IAC Ramp Down - IAC Hold Position Description: Position the IAC motor will “hold” or “freeze” at when the TPS moves above idle (when TPS becomes greater than 2%).

EFI SOFTWARE: Click "Help" tab (top toolbar) & "About Holley EFI".
ECU FIRMWARE: Click "Sync With ECU" & "Get ECU Info" (Key-on/USB connected).

Before updating firmware, ensure the current Global File is saved somewhere, since it will be erased from the ECU.
The EFI (laptop/PC) software, ECU firmware & touchscreen unit must all be version compatible (LINK).

The latest Holley EFI V5 software & firmware can be downloaded HERE.
Read the V5 Software Overview document HERE, or in the EFI software "Help" Contents.
Successfully install the new V5 EFI software (laptop), before installing the V5 ECU firmware.
Ensure the Holley EFI software is not open and the ECU is not powered on/connected when installing the new software.

EFI Software is for the laptop/PC computer.
EFI Firmware is for the ECU & touchscreens.
The EFI (laptop/PC) software, ECU firmware & touchscreen unit must all be version compatible (LINK).
Before updating ECU firmware, ensure the current GCF is saved somewhere, since it will be erased from the ECU.

The latest V5 versions currently are:
Holley EFI software is V5 Build 171.
Holley ECU firmware is HEFI_05001700.eep.
3.5" TSLCD V5 firmware is 05000050.fwu.
7" Digital Dash V5 firmware is 5.0 Build 7.

The system is a Terminator TBI with HP ECU V4 Build 110. The "new" tune was done based on my "old" tune using the same Global File. The tuner just worked on the Base Fuel & Timing Tables while on a dyno, and on the street afterwards. The IAC Hold is still at 20% in the new tune and the old tune. The only real difference I noticed besides the timing, was that the Base Fuel Table looks like it was worked in VE% vs lbs/hr. He didn't update EFI software or ECU firmware. The car runs great, just more of a curiosity thing more than anything. Haven't been able to get a hold of tuner, as he's on vacation.
