Thread: Fuel pressure & injector questions about L59.

Default Fuel pressure & injector questions about L59.

I’m trying to get my Terminator X Max up & running on an L59 with the stock return style fuel rail, stock pressure regulator (on the rail type) and stock injectors. The injector model is 25326903 which isn’t listed in the startup Wizard. I’m using an Aeromotive Stealth 340 LPH pump. I found this document http://documents.holley.com/techlibr...owdatarev2.pdf that shows my injector model and another model number (12580426) on the same line with the same flow and time curve information. Model number 12580426 is in the Wizard. Can I just select that one and will all be happy?

With a pressure gauge on the fuel line before the fuel rail I’m reading 60 psi. Is that the pressure that Holley is asking for or is it looking for the pressure that the regulator is putting out? If it’s asking for the regulated pressure, does anyone know what that would be for my setup? I’ve Googled until I’m cross eyed. I'm not experienced enough at this point to understand most of the data that I’ve been finding. I believe the Wizard asks if it’s a 42 psi or 60 psi system. Sorry for all of the questions and rambling. I’m a bit of a newb trying to learn.

I used the Flex Fuel injector they had in the pulldown list, I finally found that same L59 number you have (I have the same ones) and it seems to be the same injector, probably just a different tip, I believe that L59 injector you & I have has more holes than the early Flex Fuel engines. Took a ton of searching. but mine runs sweet.

You're getting that higher pressure likely because that Aeromotive pump is bit higher volume than the stock GM?
