Thread: Ford 42 lb/hr Injectors - Calibration?

    Default Ford 42 lb/hr Injectors - Calibration?

    Working on a 93 that appears to have a set of 42 lb/hr Ford Lightning injectors on it. The Holley EFI software doesn't list these to use. Is anyone using these injectors? If so, can you share your Holley settings to support this? I located injector data online for Ford 42 lb/hr injectors, but I'm not certain that it's for the Lightning injectors, nor am I certain how to translate the information into the EFI software.

    Danny - This matches what I found, and based on the part number/search, looks like it is correct for my injectors. Thanks for the links. Question on this: How can the X axis/voltage be changed to make entering the Ford Injector data easier? For example, Ford lists values for 6,8,10,11,12,13,14,15. The EFI software, under custom injectors, has: 8, 8.8,9.6,10.4,11.2,12.0,12.8,13.6,14.4,15.2,16,16.8 ,17.6,18.4,19.2,20. I tried to leverage the "Space X Axis Evenly" feature, but it didn't seem to change anything. It'd be great to use what Ford shared and then fill in the missing if possible. In reading the link you shared perhaps I simply need to calculate them using the data I do have. However, I did spot a video on YouTube where the person had a quite simple X axis spacing on V2 of the Terminator EFI software.

    No, the voltage scale is hard coded in the EFI software.

    No, that's not what that feature is for.

    Interesting and bummer at the same time since only two of the values (8 & 12) on the Ford sheet match up to the Holley EFI software.

    Again, that's what my last LINK is for. If I have time later, I'll post the Injector Off Time values for those Ford 42 lb/hr injectors.
