    Default Holley Sniper 85mm Throttle Body Whistle

    I have a Holley Sniper 85mm Throttle Body (cable operated) whistle on a Terminator X EFI. Why does it whistle like this? It does go away as the engine warms up and the IAC closes, but at 100% to say 80% yikes. The stock throttle body was quiet as can be!

    Since this is a mono-blade throttle body, the IAC valve opening in the throttle body probably needs to be ported smooth (radius IAC hole above throttle blade). Air doesn’t like making that sharp turn and causes the noise.
