    Default These EFI units used on an Audi?

    I have an Audi 4.2L V8 out of a '01 S8. I want to put it into a plain old A8. Problem I have is the immobilizer won't work with the engine as the stock ECU is different than the S8 one, and won't run the engine. I can get rid of the immobilizer if I go stand-alone. What type of sensors would I need to make it work?

    The same sensors the Holley EFI system uses. Look at the wiring schematics and the main harness drawings in Section 13, Wiring Appendix:
