Blowing Crank Sensors
I switched to an LS3 from a Gen 3 6.0L. I switched pins A & C on the cam sensor and unplugged the EST +12V J2B20, and moved it to J4B20 sensor +5V. Is there any reason that would blow crank sensors or do I have a problem elsewhere? I put it in live mode and watch the RPM start showing for about three seconds while cranking and then it just goes between sync and stall from there on. Thanks for your time!

I checked continuity to all other ECU wires and there was none. I also tested the 5V wire and the ground wire. The 5V wire showed 5.08V. What’s weird is that the signal wire showed 12.63V and that was both to the plug ground and grounding to the car. That certainly doesn’t seem right to have battery voltage on the signal wire to me.
That was with the sensor unplugged.
