Default New 3.5" TSLCD won't turn on.

Have a Super Sniper setup that runs fine, but I dropped the 3.5" handheld and it stopped working. Bought a new 553-115 from Summit and plugged it in and nothing. Am I missing something it should be plug & play. Thoughts please.

    Try updating the firmware (LINK).

The screen is black, it has no power so I can't update. I'm wondering if one of the wires from the ECU side of the plug broke, as I had a difficult time unplugging the old handheld. How do I check the wiring?

Besides what has already been mentioned, there are only two things I can think of now. I know this seems unlikely but, is it possible you plugged it in backwards?

I suppose it's possible when you dropped the original it shorted a circuit and opened that circuit in the ECU. One sure way to tell would be to plug the new one into another known good Sniper and see if it works.

I haven't ever studied the construction of the handheld, maybe there is a fuse in it? Sounds like a call to Holley may be in your near future.

I have two new handhelds and neither work, so I believe it's in the wiring or in the ECU.

Yes, inspect that. Those wires are small, easy to dislodge.
