Thread: HyperSpark rotor part number.

    Default HyperSpark rotor part number.

Hi all. Been looking for the part number to replace the rotor on my HyperSpark. I have a 565-300. Instructions list a cap, but not a rotor. "Replacement Black Cap: MSD 84313 or Holley 566-105." Mine is not bad yet, but the 7531 and the big coil puts a beating on caps & rotors! Making sure I have spares in advance of when they're needed. Thanks!

Ya, I was in the same boat a few weeks ago and the only place I could find a part number was on the website listed above. I called Holley, they directed me to MSD. MSD fumbled for several minutes and gave me their part number, but you have to buy it from a distributor. They mentioned several of the big ones like Summit. When I called Summit, they had to start the process to see if they could it to their inventory and didn't have it in stock. It looks like some of these parts are still considered a niche market.

Thanks guys. I saw the EFI System Pro's when I was initially looking, just thought it was odd that they were the only one I found. Good website, lots of helpful info in there. I'll grab one from them. Thanks again.

It's weird that MSD hasn't listed that part number on their website. I did a little bit of searching and it appears that you can only order that part from EFI System Pro. Very odd. MSD marketing must be asleep at the switch.

Haven't done it yet, but isn't the brass electrode replaceable? I'll order a spare prior to messing up my only one, but that brass piece seems common.
