I'm building and swapping a '97 Explorer 5.0L/4R70W into a '98 Ranger. The Explorer is EDIS. I want to use a TFI ignition system with a closed bowl distributor with remote mount TFI module like the ones used in '94/'95 Mustang due to heat issues. My first question is the Terminator X ECU setup to use a Gray TFI (push to start) or a Black (CCD) module? My next question is when looking at the Terminator X wire diagram along side the Ford wiring diagram, some of the acronyms/terminology are different. Is there any publications that can help clarify this for me?
