Thread: Unable to install Build 171.

    Default Unable to install Build 171.

    I’m currently running Build 140 and I’m trying to update to Build 171. I’m able to download the Complete File Set V5 Build 171 on my computer, but once I click save and it downloads, when I click open, it doesn’t automatically install into HEFI V5 the way previous builds always did. Can someone instruct me on how to install this. Thank you.

    You're just talking about installing it on your PC correct? Not a firmware upgrade to your ECU? If so, then you might have gotten a corrupt download. Erase the download and try it again. It's Windows so always follow the standard Windows procedure of erasing, deleting, rebooting, retrying, etc.

    Yes. That’s correct. I tried deleting it and downloading it again. Still not working. It successfully downloads and appears in “Downloads” as “techlibrary_completefilesetv5build171”, but it’s not automatically installing into the V5 the way it usually does. Is there a way I can “manually” install it into V5? Thank you.

    Yes. From there, open the zipped update download, open the "Complete File Set V5 Build 171" folder, then open the "Holley EFI Tuning Software" folder, and click "HEFI V5.0.171 Setup" to install it. Or from the Holley Tech Resource Library webpage, click "Open With" instead of "Save File".
