Thread: LS Terminator, no spark or fuel.

Default LS Terminator X, no spark or fuel.

Well fellas, needing some guidance. Had my 24x/1x LSx Terminator kit on my Fox body is close to a year. Decided to put the engine & EFI in a little S10. Flash forward to yesterday I go to start it up with the same tune, and I get nothing. I notice the RPM says stall. Never showed RPM. Pulled the plugs. No fuel. 45 psi pressure. Verified no spark. #7 LED flashes blue/green while cranking #6 LED stays blue. 10.8V to red/white wire. Pump primes as it should. Tried setting Cranking RPM to 50. Verified my grounds, tried a new crank sensor and still nothing. What am I missing? Thanks.

No RPM signal is the problem. Determine why there's no RPM signal. TPS Autoset?

Yes, I did the TPS Autoset. It was successful. Tried setting up a new tune, I didn't think I could datalog the sensors with a Terminator?

I said, "No RPM signal is the problem. Determine why there's no RPM signal." You can record a regular datalog of everything.

Update: Spoke to Holley throughout the day. Checked everything they wanted. Everything checked out. I'm sending in the ECU and they're sending out replacements. Thanks.

    ECU received OK and installed?

Not to hijack the thread, I'm running into a wall.
    Engine: SBC
Previous setup Sniper 4150 installed with MSD DIS system, no issues.
Found an edelbrock MPFI manifold with throttle body to adapt to Terminator X Max, custom harness followed to a T. (I swear! Referenced 558-117.)

Here's my checklist if Danny can chime in! Hope he can solve our issues like I've read him solve everyone else's issues online!

    Typical No-Start Checks:
Is the battery fully charged? Battery charger maintaining 13.0-14V.
Have you performed a TPS Autoset? Yes.
Is the engine cranking fast enough (100+ RPM)? 120+ RPM.
Does the Data Monitor display legitimate cranking RPM? Yes.
Does the Data Monitor display legitimate sensor values? Yes.
Does a Datalog indicate any RPM Errors? No.
Is the throttle blade(s) open far enough to start? Yes.
Are the crank & cam sensor/reluctor air gaps set correctly? Holley Dual Sync Distributor.
Do the crank & cam sensors have power & ground? Yes.
Keyed +12V red/white wire powered when cranking? Yes.
Fuel pressure set to proper psi (Actual System Pressure)? Yes.
Are the fuel injectors spraying fuel? Yes.
Does the fuel pump prime for 5 seconds at key-on? Yes.
Correct fuel injectors selected (high or low impedance) in Engine Parameters? Yes.
Is the ECU controlling timing? Yes.
Does a timing light indicate there's spark/ignition? No Spark.
What does your ignition system consist of? LS2 coils, Holley sub-harness.
Correct Ignition Type entered in Ignition Parameters? Holley Dual Sync, Yes.
Are the spark plugs fuel fouled/wet? Yes.
Is the ignition timing synchronized with the ECU? Yes.
Are you running in sequential mode? If so, check the cam sync sensor. Yes, green light on Terminator X Max LED.
Air or Coolant Temp Enrichment Modifiers erroneously set to 0% or 70%? No.
The engine won't start if the throttle is opened beyond the "Clear Flood TPS" setting. Throttle closed on startup.
Is it correctly wired as shown in the wiring manual? (Holley EFI Wiring Manual - LINK) Yes.
Disconnect the ECU Main Power Harness for 20 minutes/2 hours. This "resets" some unusual ECU issues. Same issue.

UPDATED!: Holley Dual Sync issue. Had Ignition Parameter set to: Holley Dual Sync!
HOWEVER, ECU does NOT recognize previous Dual Sync generation 565-1XX (I have 565-104). Changed Ignition Parameter to CUSTOM per Danny's reply to CNP setup for Dual Sync distributor! (Saved my day without saving my day. Ha, HA. I ran it with these ignition specs and it fired right up!

Danny, please, advise if V2 solves this issue? If not, can Holley fix this as it's misleading to use Holley Dual Sync in the Ignition Parameter setting if we have the OLDER Dual Sync. I wasted half a saturday/ENTIRE SUNDAY diagnosing this! Thanks.
