    Default Verify My A/C Shutdown & IAC Kick

    I have a Terminator Stealth (HP ECU) and a Vintage Air system. I'm not using the Holley to control my fans, so all those boxes are unchecked for on & off. My fans and EWP have their own stand-alone PWM controller.

    Basic I/O > Fans/Pumps/AC > Air Conditioning:
    I have A/C Shutdown enabled and by default Max TPS is @90% and I set the Max Coolant Temp to 230°F from 250°F (just my preference).

    I have the A/C IAC Kick enabled and currently set to 20% until I can test the exact % the IAC needs to increase in that instant to make things as smooth as possible.

    Far as the wiring:
    I moved the unassigned A/C Kick input to pin A3 since it wouldn't work on A13 or A4, and I'm using A12 for an oil temp sensor. (Which sucks because I needed A3 for my trans temp sensor.) I see that the A/C Shutdown output is on pin B12 (on the Input/Output harness connector).

    Now we move on to my real questions.
    My fans PWM controller taps into the blue wire on the Vintage A/C compressor for a signal to put them to 100% when the A/C is engaged. - Check

    1) For the A/C Kick input, I presume the wire I pin into A3 also needs to tap into this same blue wire. - Does this need any sort of a diode or relay? I'm guessing not since my PWM controller didn't. (Sorry for the dumb question, but I don't know a lot about electrical stuff & HP ECU.)

    2) Should the input type for the AC kick be 12v+ or ground for Vintage Air? Because if the Vintage Air Sanden compressor is ground triggered, that would give me back my input in the Holley for my trans temp sensor since I can move the AC Kick to another pin.

    3) For the A/C Shutdown output wire B12 on the Input/Output connector, where exactly should that wire into the Vintage Air system? I didn't install my Vintage Air so I'm not sure where it's wiring would be under my dash or have a manual for where an interruption input would go. Or if it even has an input for an interrupt like from a Holley ECU.

    4) Should the AC Shutdown output be +12V or ground for Vintage Air? It's defaulted to +12V in the Holley.

    I'm hoping someone with Vintage Air can shed some light on this for me. I've searched on the forums to come up with all of the above info, but just need a couple blanks filled in. Thanks in advance, Alex.

    EDIT: Update. I did some more digging and ground this post, which says I can set my A/C Kick to ground (Yay, I get my transmission temp sensor back!), and that I need a relay for the A/C Shutdown (which is +12V) to function:

    So I think I have all the answers to my questions. Just need to figure out what relay to buy that will work with a Vintage Air (which is ground triggered, right?) compressor. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    EDIT: Will this Bosch relay work?
    Or is this the right one?

    You need a 5 pole relay for A/C Shutdown to work. I wouldn't buy anything from eBay, especially when it says "not in original box." This tells me that it's a cheap Chinese relay.

    Waytek Wire sells quality relays made by Packer, Omron, Hella and Bosch, all are excellent. I would also use a Delphi weather resistant relay holder and a skirted relay. Andrew
