Thread: Wideband O2 Oxygen Sensor

    Default Wideband O2 Oxygen Sensor

Hi. I'm a French user (sorry for the language) of reference 550-406K, and I have to replace the oxygen sensor. Apparently, a BOSCH Wideband LSU 4.2. But it's a specific reference to Holley. Sorry for question, but considering that this part require periodic replacement this is a problem for international customer (tax & duty, shipping charge & delivery time). Really no solution to switch to a standard model?

The Holley EFI system must use the Holley EFI WBO2 sensor. It's a proprietary wideband O2 sensor (LINK), specifically made & calibrated for Holley EFI.

I do not control the lifespan of this sensor, but maybe I should go to another ECU which accepts standard sensors? Your opinion?

I'd determine why your WBO2 sensor failed. My WBO2 sensors have provided many years of service.

@C10W: As Danny said, you need to find out why the sensor failed. I have two Bosch sensors in my vehicle and they have been working well for 5 years & 30K miles. Andrew
