Thread: Dominator TPS signal for TCI controller.

I think I was mistaken when I said the TP1 & TP2 signal wires were the same. Here's the info from the GM service manual:
The TPS sensors have opposite functionality. TPS sensor 1 signal voltage decreases and TPS sensor 2 signal voltage increases as the accelerator pedal increases to wide open throttle (WOT).
So I must've tapped into sensor 2 on the TB which is the brown wire in B15. But like Andrew said, I'd use the pedal output instead to avoid the IAC changes of the throttle blade. Here's the info from the GM service manual about the APP sensor (Accelerator Pedal Position):
Both the APP sensors 1 & 2 signal percentages increase as the pedal is depressed, from approximately 0% at rest to above 95% when fully depressed. The engine control module (ECM) supplies each APP sensor with a 5 V reference circuit, a low reference circuit, and a signal circuit.

Wow, OK. That clears everything up. Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it. I'll update after I get this thing fired & tested.
