The magnetic crank trigger? How is it connected? Is there a loom ready made to join it? What option would I tick?
You can run an MSD crank trigger kit with Holley's 554-118 Hall-Effect crank sensor.
Holley's 554-118 direct replacement Hall-Effect crank sensor (¾"-16 threaded sensor):
http://documents.holley.com/199r10633rev.pdf (Holley 554-118 Instructions)
Or you can run the Holley EFI 36-1 crank trigger kit (Hall-Effect sensor) for small block Fords:

The Hall-Effect crank & cam sensors are wired as shown in the Holley EFI Wiring Manual:

Thanks, that sounds good. What option would I need to tick with this crank trigger?

So this is actually an Avenger that I bought used, but I'll be using a laptop, so in essence it's HP. Is the Innovate LC-1 that was in play with the Commander 950 not needed with the Avenger/HP? I see the wideband connector is entirely different on the HP as compared to the Commander 950. What style of wideband O2 sensor is used on the HP? The brand new one I bought for the Commander 950 (along with extension) is money wasted I assume? I have no idea if the used sensor with the HP is any good.
You need to read the Holley EFI instruction manual. The Holley EFI system must use the Holley EFI WBO2 sensor. It's a proprietary wideband O2 sensor (LINK), specifically made & calibrated for Holley EFI. However, Holley's 534-199 4' long WBO2 extension harness is compatible.
