Thread: 4L60E harness doesn't not match.

Default 4L60E harness doesn't not match.

Could I possibly need the '09+ one? I have an LS1 and 4L60E from an '04 GTO (or at least this is what they told me when I bought it). I went to plugin the transmission harness for the Terminator X Max I bought for it. The main thick plug seems different and also the harness has two black plugs, but my transmission only has one near the tail. Could I have the wrong harness? I'm wondering if I need harness 558-455? I don't have the original GM harness to compare. My transmission case is 24220974. Thanks!

For anyone finding this, it seems the harness leaves one plug unplugged.

The harness is both for a 4L60E & 4L80E. The 4L80E has two speed sensors, one is for the output (VSS) the other is for the turbine speed. The 4L60E only has the VSS. Andrew
