Default Dakota Digital RTX, Holley 7" & 12" Questions

Anyone using these and know if the bugs are worked out? I have a '70 Nova. It doesn't seem like there's a Holley Nova dash for the 12", so that's out. The 7" is okay and there's a dash, but how does one handle items like fuel level which is from a VDO sensor? Then there's Dakota Digital RTX which looks OK, but seems many have had issues with the Holley BIM & speed. I have a Terminator X, 4L80E. Not sure if I can use the laptop & Dakota Digital at the same time. Unknown how many CAN Bus interfaces my harnesses have because my car is at the fabricator right now. Anyone using these and have any input before I drop 2K on gauges? Thanks in advance.

You could also do the Classic Industries empty gauge panel and use the Holley EFI analog CAN Bus gauges. (I think they work with Terminator X?) CAN Bus can be split/daisy chained, so no worries there.

I have the RTX for a '72 Monte Carlo and a Terminator Stealth with transmission control (It's actually a Dominator ECM & controls a 4L85E.) I also have the Dakota BIM for the interface. So far it appears to play nice together. I was able to get the laptop and standard Holley 3.5" display to work at the same time. My harness had two CAN Bus connectors, so I set one to the Holley standard and the other to 'Racepak', which the BIM requires to work properly.

It displays some of the Holley parameters on the Dakota Digital dash, and the speedometer works as well from the ECM signal. (Again, I have the transmission control version of the Holley EFI). Look at the instructions of the BIM, it'll tell you exactly how to setup the unit to work with the system. Joe T.

True that Holley doesn't offer a plastic dash for the 12 inch guages?
