Primary & secondary bowls have same fuel levels?

Carb is a 4776-7 and being used on a 350 Camaro road race car. strangely both bowls have the same part number! 34R-11335.
Has anyone seen this? The fuel level sight glass holes are at the same level on both bowls, where I’ve typically seen the secondary holes lower.

We're fighting an engine stall under hard corner braking And are thus wondering if the secondary bowl is the wrong one? Jim

They are the same casting, hence the casting number, but the level holes are drilled after, and hence the bowls don't interchange.
Unless you'd want the level holes on the wrong side.
I can see that your secondary bowl does have a lower level than the primary, by about 1mm, look closely.
If you do have a stalling condition on hard braking, etc., you can lower the secondary level by one flat at time after level verification, that way you'll know where you are. Gary
