Thread: Drive-By-Wire, extra wires?

  1. #1

    Default Drive-By-Wire, extra wires?

Newbie here. Terminator X Max 550-931. TPS, IAC, not needed (taken care of by the DBW harness). Longer MAP wire also (has short one on ECU direct to manifold).
What can I do with the extra wires from the main harness? Caps? shorten/remove? Also, is there a cap/cover for the J4 plug on ECU? (Manual transmission.) Thank you in advance.

    Yes, those are your options.

That's a lot of different connectors to wire up (to where)?
I thought I could just cap them (seal them off)? Hide them?

Thank you for your help. I was just making sure that I didn't have to completely remove the wires, unpinning them from other end of the harness where it plugs into the 931 unit altogether.
