    Default WBO2 sensor location question.

I don't recall the exact figure, but I think the instructions stated to put the WBO2 sensor 8" back from the merge of the collector. My header has only about 5 or 6 in of length past the collector until it hits the flange. So I installed it I used the bung I had for my Auto Meter WBO2 sensor which was 8" past, but on the exhaust side of the collector. This header has 1 slip joint from the number 8 cylinder.

I have a bung that I bought with my Holley Sniper. And I'm planning on welding it into the opposite side, which does not have a slip connection. And I'm going to plug the Auto Meter gauge back into its sensor to have some comparison.

Should I weld the into the header or into the exhaust? Currently there's a copper gasket on the collector flange and I think it's seals pretty good, but I'm debating going to the dead soft aluminum gaskets.

That's fine. My previous Bronco had both WBO2 sensors in the header collectors, never a problem.
