    Default Hooker Blackheart Axle-Back Exhaust with Mufflers & Resonators

    Hi there. I had a basic question regarding the BlackHeart axle-back exhaust systems. I hate being "that" customer, but this one stands out too much not to inquire. When comparing PN: 70401315-RHKR & 70401322-RHKR, I see a premium of $220 being charged for the Z06 option. The units seem to be identical (material, gauge, etc.) could you confirm? If so, could you help me understand the $220 premium pricing? It seems the base system would actually be more expensive from a manufacturing stance knowing it requires an additional weld operation to reduce the pipe from 3" to 2.5". For the price separation I'd consider buying the base exhaust and simply modifying it with a 3-4" piece of 18 gauge 304-SS. Would Hooker consider selling them at equivalent pricing if they're the same besides the 0.5" reduction? Let me know your thoughts, thanks! Greg
