Question Marine Ignition, which one for 4 cylinder?

I've been using a Digital 6 Plus for the last 15 years with no problems. This is mounted externally on a foreign car and I'm 99% sure that it's potted. I understand that now, only marine ignitions are potted. Of the two available models, how do I choose between them for a 4 cylinder engine? I don't need start retard or nitrous settings. Thanks! -L

Hello MSD/Holley Customer Support! This forum seems to be the only way to get some application advice on your products. How to select from a dozen or more ignitions? What's the difference between this one and that one? The product descriptions are all pretty much the same. Your retailers do not fill the need. There are two topics that are missing from the owner's manuals that will affect the reliability of the installation.

    1) What are the recommended coils for each ignition? The wrong coil can cause failure of the ignition controller.
    2) What are the dimensions of the controller? Might be helpful to see if you have room under the hood.
Finally, as per my marine ignition question above, which ignitions of all types are potted?
    Thank you -Lazarus
