Thread: Terminator X on SBF, no spark.

  1. #1

Default Terminator X on SBF, no spark.

Trying to figure this out. I can't get any spark or injection from my setup. I'm getting a red LED #6 crank error. The cam is going from green to blue as I crank.

Small block Ford. 36-1 crank trigger with 554-124 crank Hall-Effect sensor. MSD cam sync module. Set the crank trigger at 7th tooth after gap. Cam sync is set at 120° BTDC.

Ignition setting is Custom 36-1 Digital Rising, 7th tooth. Inductive Delay 50.0 usec Digital Rising. Cam setting as Digital Rising, Single Pulse.

Coil-Near-Plug with LS coils. Software set to DIS Coil On Plug.

I have continuity from the sensor to the ECU. Power to the sensor. When I crank I can have either 12 volts or 0 volts back at the ECU from the crank sensor signal wire. When engine spinning I see 5 volts but just with a multi-meter, so I assume it can't read fast enough. Any idea why I have no spark?

Seems I did not have the TPS Autoset done, so no spark. Did that and took care of it.
