Thread: Terminator EFI stalls when cold.

Default Terminator EFI stalls when cold.

Terminator EFI system on an LS3 with a T56 transmission. When it's cooler outside, like a first start in the morning, it will crank and fire immediately and idle smoothly. I can back it out of the driveway and then go to 1st gear and start moving forward, and then shift to 2nd gear and I don't have any problem. But the first few stops I get to when I put the clutch in and have to wait to go again, the RPM will drop to 500. Hot idle is 850 and when cold about 1000, and then stall out. As the water temp gets to about 130°-150°F, at a stop the RPM will drop to 500 and it will start to catch itself.

Has anyone run into this issue before and have any ideas on what variable I can tune to get the stall resolved? When it's good and warmed up, it holds idle well at a stop. Greg

Thanks Danny. I made the adjustments that you outlined in those paragraphs and will give that a shot.
