Thread: HP upgrade to V5 problems.

    Default HP upgrade to V5 problems.

    I did the V5 upgrade from the V4, couple problems popped up.
    1) The flex fuel setup now has a Y-axis, nothing matches what I had there before.
    2) I can't datalog from the laptop, says something about the director?
    3) I can't get the 3.5" TSLCD to work, doesn't seem to want to update.
    I was a little unsure about updating, given my abilities, but it does run, and has my tune from the V4. Thanks.

    It seems you went from a 1D Table to a 2D Table.

    2) I can't datalog from the laptop, says something about the director?
    Try a fresh Holley EFI software download, something might be corrupted.

    3) I can't get the 3.5" TSLCD to work, doesn't seem to want to update.
    Ensure you downloaded the proper 3.5" TSLCD firmware update for the HP/Dominator EFI.

    You need to upgrade the 3.5" TSLCD to V5 software also.

    Yep, I was looking at the 2D Table, forgot I had 1D Table setup.
    Not sure what you mean fresh software. I have version 110, should I try 140?
    I think I did load the 3.5" touchscreen from a different system, didn't see it listed for the HP. Trust me, I struggle with this stuff, LOL.

    Since you're updating, why wouldn't you install the latest version of the V5 EFI software?

    I think I did load the 3.5" touchscreen from a different system, didn't see it listed for the HP.
