Thread: Dominator Included WBO2 Left vs Right?

Default Dominator Included WBO2 Left vs Right?

My initial WBO2 is located in the Left and my Innovate is in the Right. Does that matter? I plan on adding the Holley WBO2 so I can do the Average selection. Anyway for me to tell the Dominator my WBO2 is left?

The P1A (HP & Dominator ECU) WBO2 Main Harness is the "Left" sensor.
The P2A (Dominator ECU only) WBO2 Auxiliary Harness is the "Right" sensor.

The only definitive aspect is P1A is Left & P2A is Right.
It doesn't matter which (engine) bank is Left or Right.
The Left/Right can be whichever bank you interpret it to be. (Additional WBO2 Sensor Heating & Status Information)

Holley needs to make the WBO2 sensor inputs re-nameable for folks like me that route them first and then find out they are backwards at the track. It makes for one extra lap before one goes "DUH". Now I've got to re-pin my WBO2 sensors at the ECU.

I got lucky the first time I installed a Holley EFI system. The bung was in the left side so I installed the WBO2 sensor and hooked it all up and the ECU told me AFR in the left side. I thought wow that's cool, how does it know it's in the left side? Eventually I figured out I had just flipped the coin the right way that time.
