I converted my carburetor car to fuel injection along with an engine swap. I also installed a similar to stock fuel tank and in tank 340 LPH. I left the vent lines and charcoal lines capped and installed a Vented Gas Cap. From what I researched this is what they would used back in the olden golden days. My only qualm is that I'm running 58 psi and curious if this setup is sufficient. I get a very strong woosh of air when I open the gas cap to the tank. Very similar to my new 4Runner, if you leave the cap off with truck running you can actually hear the air getting sucked in. So I figure I'm fine, but just wanted to post and see what everyone else was doing for 'research'.
