Thread: Cockpit 2 1/16" AFR Gauge Right

Default Cockpit 2 1/16" AFR Gauge Right

I have an Innovate AFR in the left side of my engine and the Dominator in the right. I configured the I/O to work with the Innovate for datalogging and that is all GOOD. Now in phase II of my project, I'm thinking of dumping the Innovate and going with your 2 1/16" Gauge (Part# 553-131), and a new BOSCH AFR kit so I can use it for AFR average, and then keep a gauge in the car. What else do I need and what part number do I need for the BOSCH Harness and WBO2 (is there a kit)? I heard I have to connect to a PIN in the harness, but doesn't the Dominator have a CAN Bus output? Regards, Carmelo "Melo"

You'll connect the stand-alone Bosch WBO2 sensor kit's 0-5V signal output wire into a 0-5V Holley HP/Dominator EFI Input (created in the Inputs/Outputs ICF) for monitoring/datalogging purposes; you just can't run Closed Loop off of it.

Is there a reason you don't want to use the second WBO2 function built into the Dominator ECU?

Thanks Danny. I did that already based on your link for phase II. I'd like upgrade to full Closed Loop, but want to keep the cockpit gauge. What do I need for that or is it not possible?

I do, I just want to know if there's a cockpit gauge too.

I've found this part number 553-131, but I'm confused. Do I need this part number as well 554-130? I've a Dominator and it has the CAN Bus connector off of the harness.

This is the first line in the instructions:
"Holley EFI Analog Style CAN Gauges require the Holley EFI 554-130 Gauge Module to function. The module is compatible with any Terminator, HP, Dominator, or Sniper ECU. The module can be connected to any single gauge and additional gauges maybe daisy chained in any order. Only one module is required per vehicle, allowing the user to daisy chain as many gauges together as they wish without having to purchase additional modules."

Thanks 81 TransAm, I was just going to link the instructions. Czizza, yes, you need both items.
