Thread: Terminator X Max Mapping Input/Output

    Default Terminator X Max Mapping Input/Output

    Is changing the setup of the Inputs/Outputs of the Terminator X Max different from other Holley EFI units? I've found some information on how to do it with other units, but cannot find anything for the Terminator X. I added the I/O information to the Terminator EFI software, but I wasn't able to change or really do anything. I'd like to use one of my inputs for a signal from my oil temp sensor. Is there any information about how to assign one of my Inputs for a 5V sensor so I can set the scaling?

    The Terminator X has the same Inputs/Outputs ICF as the Terminator/HP & Dominator EFI systems.

    I didn't want to start a new thread since it's basically related, but I have another question. With the Terminator X Max (550-929) what's the best way to hook up a temp input? Most of the sensors I find are two wire designs with some resistance being measured not a 0-5V range like the ECU supports. Am I missing something simple?

    I saw that thread. Maybe I'm missing something but I thought the Terminator X can only support 5V inputs and not thermistor inputs.

    Ah...yes, you're correct. I thought you were inquiring about 1-wire thermistor type inputs, but the Terminator X isn't capable of those.
