Thread: Terminator X Bosch to NTK WBO2 sensor?

Default Terminator X Bosch to NTK WBO2 sensor?

Just bought the new Fox Body Terminator X setup. It comes with the Bosch wideband O2 sensor. Since I run a mix of 110 leaded and 93 unleaded, I'd like to use the NTK wideband O2 sensor instead of the Bosch wideband O2 sensor. What would it take to accomplish that or am I stuck with the Bosch?

Terminator X is Bosch LSU4.9 WBO2 sensor only.

So there’s no way of changing over to an NTK sensor?

No, not with the Terminator X.

That really sucks. How long do you think the Bosch 4.9 will live a happy life with 70% unleaded and 30% leaded fuel on a road course environment?

Til you see the finish line, on your way, to the win! Just Kidding! I've run them with straight 116, watched the datalogs, closely. Some lasted all summer, some didn't make it a couple weekends, on the street. Always a fresh sensor, prior to a trip to the strip. (Stage 2 Turbo Buick application.) A spare, or two, are always a good idea.

Would the Innovate Motorsports HBX-1 bung extender help extend sensor life? It helps under normal circumstances.
