    Default Stand-Alone Pro Dash 553-112/111

    I've been reading into the newer Pro Dash 553-111/553-112 and it seems like they are usable as a stand-alone dash as well. Has anyone done this? With the Inputs/Outputs available, it seems possible to monitor anything that uses a temp/pressure sensor. Fuel level & turn signals could also be added. Speedometer & odometer would come from GPS. The only two items I'm not sure that would be able to be monitored are tach and air fuel. Does anyone know how you could monitor these last two items if a Pro Dash was used as a stand-alone unit? Is there any reason this wouldn't work? Thanks, Chris

    From the Holley 553-112 Pro Dash Instruction Manual (LINK): "Standalone vs. EFI Connected Mode - Stand-alone mode will be available in a future firmware update."

    From the Holley 553-111 Pro Dash Instruction Manual (LINK): "Standalone vs EFI Connected Mode - The Dash has two main modes of operation, stand-alone and EFI-connected. If you have a Holley EFI installed in your vehicle, ensure that the stand-alone mode is unchecked in the configuration menu. If you're using the Pro Dash without a Holley EFI, select Stand-Alone mode. The EFI specific Datalog and Tuning buttons will no longer be shown in this mode."

    RPM is always available even in stand-alone mode. AFR in stand-alone mode requires a stand-alone wideband O2 sensor kit with a 0-5V output signal wired into the Pro Dash "Custom 5V" input channel (see page 14 of the instruction manual).
