Default HP ECU not powering on.

Hello, my cars been working fine for a year and a half and I decided to update my ECU and Digital Dash to V5. I did it successfully and somehow didn’t save my tune in the right folder and lost the tune. So I went inside to make a new base tune and when I reconnected the laptop to the ECU, no ECU was found. The Digital Dash also says no ECU. So I sent in the ECU and Holley couldn’t get the ECU to power on and they said this shouldn’t have happened and kindly sent me a new one. So I plug in the new one and same thing. Laptop can’t connect to the ECU. I have 12 volts at the ECU power connector too. I’ve read all the threads that I could find with similar problems and I still can’t figure it out. Please help. Thanks, Patrick

V5 software and I’ve tried uploading V5 Build 130 to the ECU, but there’s a communication error.

You'll have to contact Holley Tech Service (LINK) again, since this is the new ECU they sent you.
