Default Any reason I couldn't run this phenolic spacer?

I wasn't sure how much hood clearance I'd have with the new intake manifold/Sniper over the stock manifold/carb. Just got the hood back on and looks like a .250 spacer will be fine. I think it'd be a good idea to insulate the Sniper TB from heat transfer and this spacer was under the old carb. If I don't have to spend money on something like a Canton 85-154, then I'll just run the previous one. I'm just not sure if the shape of it would cause any unforeseen (to me) issues. Thanks.

Can't see why not, you're replacing a carb with an "electronic carb". Gary

I'm running a phenolic spacer to adapt a spread-bore to square-bore and it works fine. I'd cut the center part out unless you're also running some form of a backing plate.

Yes, I agree. Cut out the divider if on a single plane intake. Gary
