Sounds like the machine shop is just like body shop operators...never hit the target.
Ours is/was the same way. We're now into using crate engines.

I'm modifying my harness as I'm now running a 58x reluctor and front cam sensor, converted from 24x/1x. I bought the appropriate sensors from GM. (FYI: The new 58x crank sensors from GM are now black. Correct par number for LS2.) Anyhow, I'm cutting into my harness, which was from kit 550-904, and I'm going by the diagram for kit 550-910. I understand the new cam and crank sensors are 5V reference and I see that the cam sensor pins A & C swap purposes from the 550-904 diagram. My biggest questions are:
    1) Do I need to use the A18 sensor ground for cam & crank now or can I stay with A14 IPU ground?

    2) Besides using the Wizard and telling the ECU that it's a 58x/4x now, is there any other pin-out arrangements I need to make?
    Thank you.

    Read pin-out information here:

    Look & compare the 24x/1x (LS1) & 58x/4x (LS2) wiring schematics in Section 13, Wiring Appendix. Figure 22, page 35:

No, just Ignition Parameters programming and 5V/Ground wiring.

Thank you! I'm going to try and get a initial timing check out of it tomorrow and see what I got. Hopefully good news! Thanks again for the resources.

After converting to 58x/4x it finally runs. That was a hard road to take. Does Holley want me to send them my 24x reluctor so they can learn from this?
