Holley Digital Dash - Datalog Remote Trigger

Can any of the Holley Digital Dashes be setup with a remote/external switch to start datalogging? Basically a remote "Record" button. I've gone through the several of the manuals several times and I see where you can setup an external switch to scroll through screens, but no details on other remote trigger options to initiate the "Record" function. I need to be able to start a datalog with 5-point harness on (can't reach dash) and race gloves on. I tried using my phone with race gloves on and as expected it doesn't work. I'd assume the Holley dashes would be the same.

Any idea when the new 6.86" Pro Dash will have stand-alone capability? The manual says in future firmware updates. Jason G.

I don't think so, but contact Holley Tech Service (LINK) for confirmation.

It's not a capacitive touchscreen (soft tip electronic stylus); it's a resistive touchscreen (hard tip plain plastic stylus).
Anything will do...even a Q-tip cotton swab. So you can use something long enough to reach the Digital Dash touchscreen.
