Thread: Holley 553-109 Stand-Alone Digital Dash

Default Holley 553-109 Stand-Alone Digital Dash

Is there a template for this Digital Dash? The link on the Holley webpage opens up MSD 6427 template. I'd like to check the fitment before purchasing.
Also, is there an option to hook this up through OBD2 connection to see what the ECU is reading? This would eliminate some of the extra sensors. I'm running the Ford Racing control pack M-6017-504V. Thanks, Chris

No. It doesn't integrate with the OEM engine management system at all. It's not OBD1 or OBD2 compliant.

The AEM CD-5 & CD-7 displays will read OBDII data along with pretty much every other popular stand-alone ECU on the market. The Holley EFI Digital Dashes only seem to work with Holley ECUs with limited stand-alone/external data source capability. Getting tech support answers have been challenging so far also. Jason G.

The vast majority of Holley EFI users have no need for OBD2 compatibility.

Thanks for the replies. I'll look into both products and decide which one suits best.
