    I found it. I pulled the distributor and the wiring was fine, contact for stop was fine. However, one time when I swapped out stops the little washer didn't go on the stud, but got dropped and attached itself to the pickup magnet a little before the reluctor break. You couldn't see the little thing with the distributor installed. Apparently, it was setting up an opposing field or a cancelling one that stopped the advance at 10°. I removed said washer, dropped it in ran it up from 16° and right to 38° like it was supposed to. Thanks for your suggestion. Man getting old sucks. LOL!!!

    Change out the weights & springs for new ones? Or send it in to MSD for repairs?

    What does he need to do that for? He fixed it.
    The stupid little washer above the nut for the advance bush fell out on reassembly.
    If the bushings were made a fraction thicker, it wouldn't need the washer. Gary
