    Default Bosch 3.5 Bar TMAP Sensor

    Can someone point me in the right direction for calibration info on the Bosch 0281002456 3.5 Bar TMAP sensor? I need calibration data for the MAP sensor as well as the Temp sensor. Thanks in advance.

    TMAP sensors combine MAP and intake temperature into one package. There are 4 wires (Power, Ground, Temp & Map). The best way to calibrate the MAP is to use shop air with a valve & gauge. Apply the pressure in small increments noting the PSI and the output voltage. This will give you the calibration map psi vs voltage. I would also use a Mityvac (with gauge) to make sure the vacuum area stays linear. The temp sensor is harder to do, but can be checked against a mechanical gauge when the engine is running.

    Sometimes it's easier to use the Holley EFI sensors, which are readily available at an auto parts store. (Replacement Sensors For Holley EFI - Auto Parts Store)

    I needed a 3.5 bar that will bolt in place of the LS9 sensor 12592525, and I also need an IAT built-in hence choosing the Bosch TMAP.
