Default HP ECU & 7" Digital Dash

Hello, need some help. I have a Hilborn setup on a 512 cid '68 Charger. My new 7" Digital Dash seems to work great for the gauges, but when I open the tuning option with car running, there's no highlighted cell on any of the maps. I can't tune. I was told to update the firmware. The ECU had 4.0 064, and the Digital Dash has SW version 4.0 build 37 HW Rev D2. I was told to update my firmware by Rich Fastman, so I installed 4.0 110 into the ECU, still can't tune from Digital Dash. I don't find any newer V4 firmware for the Digital Dash than what it already has. As a note, it has build 37 & the newest on the Holley website is build 36? Thanks, Charlie

I think he meant reflash the Digital Dash firmware, not the ECU firmware.

Yes, he meant reflash the Digital Dash with that same latest firmware version.

I tried to do that, but my Digital Dash firmware looks to be a later version than what is on the Holley website? All I can find is 4.0.36, mine has 4.0.37 and I can't make it load.

This is usually a USB flash drive formatting issue.

Thanks Danny, I'll keep you posted.

UPDATE: I called Holley, the guy REALLY tried to help me, but I still have a non-tuning Dash. I still think it's a firmware problem, but mine has 37 build & the onsite Holley is 36.

If Holley doesn't have this so-called 4.0.37 version Digital Dash firmware, then just use the 4.0.36 version firmware. (They may have reverted back to 4.0.36 due to issues.)
