Thread: Pin A14 On Holley 558-105 Harness

    Default Pin A14 On Holley 558-105 Harness

    I have a Holley 558-105 universal harness and I'm wiring up the Hall-Effect crank trigger. Since no wire diagram exists for this harness I've been using 558-104 diagram. All the colors seem to match up, but the Crank Trigger (IPU Ground) is White Brown on the harness, but listed as Green on the 558-104 harness drawing. I just want to make sure the Universal 558-105 harness pin A14 is the same IPU Ground function.

    Correct, the Holley EFI Wiring Manual doesn't have a wiring diagram for the Unterminated Main Harness.
    See section 5.3 "Ignition Adapter", page 11 (10-pin connector) for ignition wiring and the wiring diagrams for everything else:

    OK thanks. So IPU Ground is White/Brown on the 558-105 harness? I'm wiring direct to an OEM connector and not using the 10-pin.

    I don't have the Holley 558-105 Universal Harness, so I don't know the wire color. However, you can answer this question for yourself. The two IPU Grounds at the Ignition Adapter 10-pin connector (whether you're using it or not), are routed to pin A14 in the P1A ECU connector. In other words, your main harness answers your question. Look at the wiring schematics in Section 13, Wiring Appendix, follow the A14 IPU Ground wire(s), and you'll see what I mean:
