Thread: Setting up 16 injectors sequentially.

Default Setting up 16 injectors sequentially.

I've done some searching and it seems that this subject hasn't been discussed. I wired up two sets of injectors sequentially (second set using the new Holley 554-143 Injector Driver Module) and now I'm at the point of getting ready to test it out. Setting the EFI software up this way does not have a duty cycle activation % on when the second set turns on. I'll be using a small set 210 PPH for idle and spooling and a large set 850 PPH for once the boost comes in. Anyone have an idea on how to set this up?

You can do it one of two ways. First is select Injection Type as Multi-Port and 2 or 3 sets of injectors (depending on how you want it setup) and you can do a simply duty cycle activation from there.

The second way is Injection Type as Custom, and that opens up more options. Then you can go back to the Base Fuel Table, select "Custom Injectors" at the top right, and you can ramp in the second set whenever you want.

With running two sets of injectors sequentially, you can not use "Multi-Port" as it will turn the 2nd set into batch fire with only 4 outputs instead of 8. I'm stuck with using the "Custom Injectors" Graph which is fine I just want to make sure I'm setting it up right. I'm setting it up as a percentage of total fuel flow, which is correct I believe. My small injectors deliver about 25% of total fuel flow and the large ones 75%. I've set the small ones for 20% so they only run up to approximately 80% duty cycle.
